Interior
An interior detail can be a lot more challenging than the exterior. Tighter areas, lingering smells and more delicate surfaces demand a much subtle approach. But, with the right combination of products, tools and accessories it shouldn't be a challenge for you to achieve professional results at home.
Top Tips:
- Blow, Brush and Vac
- Know Your Surfaces and Chemicals
- Take it to the Next Level
Blow, Brush and Vac: if you have a compressor or car dryer it can also be used to blow out tight areas, couple this with a good brush down of all fabrics and hard surfaces then vacuum.
Know Your Surfaces and Chemicals: check the labels before use to ensure you are using your products correctly. MonsterShine Citrus Wash makes an excellent APC at 2-3% mixed with water and is also tough enough for everything else on the exterior at a stronger concentration. If you aren't sure, feel free to get in touch and ask.
Take it to the Next Level: when it comes to interiors, shiny means dirty; a good leather cleaner like Holy Cow and darkening dressing such as Recovery will offer an OEM finish lending the car a visceral, like new, sensation. Or you could use Bio-Fresh and Stain Remover for a more thorough clean on soiled surfaces. Clean the glass then finish it at the end to remove streaks. Glaze and wax the door shuts and dress the engine bay. If you're interested in a show-winner that is!
